Position : International Accreditation Project Assistant

Location : Toulouse, France

 

UT1 Capitole is the Law, Economics and Management university of Toulouse. Comprising of 21,000 students, the principle assets of UT1 Capitole are its renowned research team, the vast variety of programs offered, and the numerous partnerships formed with members of the professional world. TSM is the school of management of UT1 Capitole. TSM has begun to develop a quality management team. According to its international development strategy, TSM now focuses its efforts on a more global approach by aiming towards obtaining an international accreditation. TSM thus invites applications for the administrative position of International Accreditation Project Assistant (full time, catégorie A, Ingénieur d’études).

Position description:  

The International Accreditation Project Assistant will report to the professor in charge of International Accreditation and to the International Accreditation Project Manager. The central task of the position will be to assist them in the analysis of the organisation and information systems, and the carrying out of the accreditation process throughout the school.

More specifically:

  • to become familiar with the standards of international accreditation systems along with the French and international examples of accredited establishments
  • to provide a regulatory and operational benchmark of international accreditation systems
  • to collect the information needed to ensure the eligibility of the school and its departments to the chosen accreditations
  • to write and validate procedures in accordance with the quality policy of the university
  • to support the team in charge of the preparation of evaluation or self-assessment reports
  • to promote the accreditation process while training and advising the members of the TSM community
  • to participate in audits conducted by the specific accreditation body
  • to write memos and reports concerning the governance of the school

Qualifications:

This position requires the candidate to be fluent both in French and English (written and spoken). The incumbent must also have an excellent knowledge of the main characteristics of the French higher education and research system, as well as the different accreditation models, standards, and quality reference documents.

This opportunity would suit an individual who is highly skilled in oral and written presentations. The incumbent must have the capability to analyze and outline different sources of information, to successfully support a team, to manipulate basic computer systems and specific softwares necessary to this position. The candidate must be able to work in a complex environment with numerous people from various positions.

Contract conditions:

The contract is for a fixed period of 1 year, full time, renewable (4 years).
Remuneration : 21 818 euros (gross annual salary)
