The Department of Finance and Economics at Hanken School of Economics invites applications for a three-year fixed term position as a Post Doc in Finance in Helsinki from 1.10.2019 or earlier

The successful candidate is expected to carry out scientific research, and to provide high quality academic teaching, with an emphasis on research at a high level. This position is part of a Hanken Area of Strength in Financial Management, Accounting and Governance, and we have a preference for candidates with research interest in Corporate Finance/Corporate Governance. Special consideration is given to candidates that have demonstrated their ability to produce high quality research.
Applicants are required to have fluent command of English. The annual working time in the position is 1624 hours. During the school year, the successful candidate is expected to spend a minimum average of three days per week at the Department in order to actively contribute to the research and teaching environment in the campus. Teaching tasks are moderate, and they are allocated based on the curriculum needs of the Department and by considering expertise of the successful candidate.
