The position will be vacant in September 2019.

The successful applicant will work directly under Deputy Dean supervision. She / He will also work closely with the Associate Dean for Faculty.

Closing Date: 15th June 2019.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Co-define and manage the school’s research strategy in line with the school’s mission.

Develop and manage the research faculty: supervise research activities and ensure that faculty members progress in quality and excellence.

Supervise TBS research center and the different research groups.

Submit proposals to obtain sources of financing both private and public for research.

Contribute to the accreditation process both national (CEFDG) and international (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).

Emphasis results in research (external communication, impact).

Manage doctoral programs (PhD with the public University of Toulouse I, DBA program).

Participate to the appraisal process of academic staff member for the research part of their activity.

Is member of internal executive committees.

As a faculty member the new Associate Dean for Research will continue to publish in high quality international journals in the French rankings of CNRS and/or FNEGE and in the FT rankings. The Associate Dean for Research will also carry out teaching duties (30h).


The successful applicant will hold a Doctorate or Ph.D. in management.

A French HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) (or equivalent for international applicants) is highly desirable.

At least 10 years’ managerial experience in either a French or international Business School (Academic Associate Dean, Head of Department or Director of Program(s)).

A wide knowledge of the business school environment and accreditations.

Possessing significant international experience and fluent in English.
