Job description

EDHEC Business School

Operating from campuses in Lille, Nice, Paris, London, and Singapore, EDHEC is ranked among the top 15 European business schools. Fully international and with direct connections to the business world, EDHEC is a school for business, rather than a business school, where excellence in teaching and research focuses on innovation to stimulate entrepreneurship and creativity. EDHEC functions as a genuine melting pot of ideas to produce innovative solutions valued by businesses. Its teaching philosophy, inspired by its award-winning research activities, is rooted in “learning by doing”.

EDHEC Management Chair in Innovative Health

The Chair was founded for a new research centre investigating paradigms that disrupt the healthcare sector, with the main focus on digital technologies. IT is used in many ways in the health sector (e-health, IoT, VR/AR, Metaverse, etc.), and has a growing influence on doctors, patients, and the healthcare industry. More than simply a passing trend, the health sector is undergoing a revolution that could change the way doctors and patients interact. While some organisations may adopt these changes for their own benefit, the digital revolution raises fundamental questions for researchers in terms of:

  1. Uses and acceptance of technology (IoT, AI, E-Health) from the perspectives of patients, caregivers, and suppliers,
  2. The Health Care Value Chain (HCVC) and understanding value co-creation and value co-destruction,
  3. Value-Based Healthcare (VBC), exploring the high-value care provided to patients.

The EDHEC Management Chair in Innovative Health is a multidisciplinary research centre created to conduct research at the intersection of Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation. The Chair works in partnership with one of the biggest players in the pharmaceutical sector (ranked in the top 10 worldwide).
