Job description

Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences trains professionals for business and services through education, research and development. Our fields of education are business, hotel, restaurant and tourism management, information technology, journalism, business service solutions and languages, sports management and vocational teacher education. Over 11 000 students in Haaga-Helia are linked to the business community already during their studies. They are supported by staff with approximately 700 high level national and international experts.

Haaga-Helia UAS’s strategy includes achieving international accreditations. To support reaching this goal we are looking for
Specialist in International Accreditations
to our Quality Management Services for permanent position starting on January 2022 or as agreed.

In this position, your tasks include especially:
- analysing relevant international accreditation criteria for Haaga-Helia
- identifying development areas and the needed actions related to the accreditation criteria
- facilitating the development of Haaga-Helia’s practices in accordance with its quality policy
- producing documents and developing practices in order for our International Business degree programme to achieve EFMD programme accreditation
- following and analysing international accreditation and ranking developments

You will work in close cooperation with Quality Management Specialists, International Business degree programme staff and different development groups.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in international accreditations and who are resilient, pro-active and development-oriented team players. We appreciate experience of accreditation work in a university of applied sciences. The position requires a strong command of English language.

We expect you to have:
- a Master’s degree in a suitable field
- relevant work experience connected to higher education
- knowledge in international accreditations and rankings
- an ability to write accreditation applications and reports
- good communication skills, systematic way of working and solution-based approach
