Job description

The University of St. Gallen and its School of Finance (SoF) are seeking candidates for a tenure-track assistant professorship, associate or full professorship in finance with a focus on private markets and alternative investments. We are looking for an individual with a strong international research profile in this area and excellent teaching abilities.

The new professor will become part of a dedicated research team benefitting from an excellent research infrastructure and will teach at the Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. level. The holder of the position is expected to develop a research center in the area of private markets (private equity, private debt, investment in and financing of infrastructure, etc.) in the School of Finance and to collaborate with the financial industry to foster high-impact research.

For this professorship, we seek candidates per 1 August 2019 or by mutual agreement.
