|School/Company||Sheffield Business School|
|Job Title||Professor in Marketing|
|Address||City Campus, Howard Street|
|Desired education level||Doctorate or PhD|
With 250 academic staff and more than 6,500 students, Sheffield Business School is the largest modern business school in the UK, with ambitions to be the best in the country. As well as working towards AACSB accreditation, to go alongside our existing EPAS recognition, we want to be known internationally for excellence in scholarship and research.
The Department of Management is forward thinking and enterprising, and has strong links with employers, communities and professional bodies. Vitally, our portfolio is practice based, applied and highly relevant to both students and employers - developing highly employable graduates with the latest knowledge and real work skill to maximise their future potential.
Research-informed learning is a central part of this, and now we're looking for a Professor in Marketing to deliver world class research and high quality teaching. You'll also play a vital role in leading and nurturing research, both within the marketing discipline and right across the department.
You'll have an outstanding record of publishing research that can make a significant impact and the ability to drive to inspire others to do the same. With a profile of income generation and ideally a record of supervising PhDs, you'll have the ability to lead in both teaching and research.
If you feel your work and passion for research fits with our plan we would love to hear from you.
We particularly welcome applicants from underrepresented groups
