Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) is seeking full-time research professors in the areas of Strategy, Organizational Behavior, Learning and Education, Economics, Finance and Information Systems/Data Science. The school requires a workload in accordance to standards worldwide adopted and candidates will have their primary institutional attachment to FDC. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree, preferably from an internationally recognized school; be fluent in English, Portuguese or Spanish. Candidates are required to conduct research that will impact society, organizations and individuals, and have interest/competence to do research and publish in academic recognized journals. Research outputs are expected to contribute to those main areas and to be both rigorous and relevant, by effectively blending theory and practice. FDC is strongly embedded in the business community and we maintain healthy relationships with the leadership of large and mid-sized firms and nonprofit organizations.

We look for candidates who:

• Have competence to conduct research that can be applied to executive education and individual or organizational development;
• Have a track of published articles in academic journals in your expertise area or evidences of a pipeline to accomplish such publications (as articles in peer review process, submitted articles in revision, etc)
• Participate in knowledge networks outside of their own university environment, such as research groups and international organizations in their subject of expertise, etc;
• Aim to adapt cutting-edge knowledge and academic research into language that is attractive to the corporate public.

Candidates are not required to live in Brazil. However, they should be able to spend programmed time and visits to participate in campus activities and teaching in the country. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted, at which time we will arrange for an interview and will request additional information including a selection of three relevant papers, or papers with advanced peer reviews in top journals, and up to three letters of recommendation.
