As part of a continuing growth initiative, the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto, Portugal, invites applications for one position of Assistant Professor in Business Economics. We are looking for candidates who can contribute to top publications at ABS ranking and other evidence of scholarly impact, plus evidence of teaching, service, and grant leadership ability when applicable.

The employment contract is for an indefinite period, and it is celebrated under the Portuguese Labor Code and the Regulation for the Celebration of Employment Contracts for Teaching Personnel of the University of Porto under the Labor Code, subject to a 5-year trial (tenure track probation) period.

The Quartile/Ranking of the journals to be considered is that of the most recent edition of each bibliographic base, regardless of the year of publication of the article.
The selection process of candidates admitted to the recruitment process will take place in two phases: Curriculum Assessment (CA) and Interview (I).
