Known as "Ancient Millenarian Academy, Famous Centennial University", Hunan University is located under the bottom of graphic Yuelu Mountain, on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. The Business School of Hunan University (HNUBS) is a AACSB and AMBA accredited school. Available Positions and Preferred Qualifications

Academic Leading Talent (Professor)

Applicants should possess:

1. A proven track record of publishing in top-tier international journals.
2. Capacity to manage and oversee major national scientific research projects as well as major international cooperation projects.
3. Ability to lead the department’ research to reach an international advanced level.

Professor & Associate Professor

Applicants should possess:

1. A Ph.D. degree from a well-known university, with excellent educational background or working experience.
2. A proven track record of publishing in international top-tier journals and have a strong research commitment.
3. Capacity to manage and oversee national scientific research projects as well as international cooperation projects.
4. Potential to become a leading researcher in the relevant research area.

Assistant Professor

Applicants should possess:

1. A Ph.D. degree from a well-known university, with excellent educational background or working experience.
2. A strong potential to publish in international top-tier journals.
3. Excellent teaching skill as evidenced in teaching evaluations.

Post-doctor

Applicants should possess:

1. Recent Ph.D. graduates or Ph.D. degree holders, generally within 3 years of obtaining a Ph.D. degree.
2. Excellent research potential, academic ethics, and comprehensive ability.
3. The commitment to research on a full-time basis.

Remuneration and Benefits

1. Academic Leading Talent (Professor)：An internationally competitive remuneration package as well as a research start-up fund and a settlement fund will be negotiated on a personal basis.
2. Professor & Associate Professor：Internationally competitive remuneration to be negotiated on a personal basis, as well as a start-up research fund and a settlement fund.
3. Assistant Professor：The basic salary starts at RMB400,000 per year plus a start-up research fund and settlement fund.
4. Post-doctor：There are 3 types of funding allocated to the school each year at the rate of RMB470,000, RMB240,000, and RMB160,000.

Other Supports

1. Resources allocation: For applicants who work in research area in need or particularly outstanding in their disciplines, the conditions of support such as scientific research start-up fund, settlement fund, and arrangement of spouse's job can be negotiated. The allocation of master or doctoral student quota and the establishment of experimental platforms will be provided in priority.
2. Housing support: The school provides temporary residential housing, rental subsidies, and other housing supports according to the situation of applicants.
3. Researchandteaching Institutes: It has 15 interdisciplinary research institutes, including the Institute of Management Science, the Institute of Digital Society, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Ministry-level research and teaching teams and bases, etc.
4. Livingenvironment: Changsha is the nation's transport hub and the center of commerce in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Changsha has been called "the happiest city in China", "the cultural capital of East Asia" and the "media art capital" of the world many times for its affordable housing, delicious food, rich cultural and entertainment venues.
