JIBS is recruiting an Assistant Professor in Business Administration specializing in Supply Chain Management. The candidate should have a strong interest in teaching and in doing research that influences both academics and practitioners.

All faculty at JIBS are encouraged to engage in research, apply for externally funded research grants, and engage with business and society at large. Our research is to a large extent conducted within our three research centres:

We are looking for candidates with experience in education in different areas of supply chain management subjects including supply chain processes, transportation and logistics, inventory and warehouse management, and application of emerging digital technologies and systems in supply chain management. The candidate should have a record of publications in the relevant areas of supply chain management, preferably in journals ranked in the ABS list, and/or a promising pipeline. Practical experience relevant for these fields of research, is considered a merit.
The selection process will place great value on the applicant’s suitability for the position and JIBS, including flexibility; communication skills; quality awareness and ability to collaborate and build relationships with students, colleagues and external stakeholders. The holder of a position at JIBS must be able to position their present or aspired research orientation within JIBS focus areas.
JIBS is a school with an international profile which means you should have experience and willingness to interact with students and colleagues from different cultures. You have a fluency in written and spoken English and it is considered a merit if you know any of the Nordic languages.

The position is a permanent full-time position, starting 1st of March 2023 or by agreement.
