Job description

The service of Financial Analysis and Corporate Finance led by Professor Marie Lambert at HEC Liège (University of Liège) is looking for a research assistant in sustainable finance.

Job description
• Work on applied research projects in sustainable finance in collaboration with different project partners;
• Collaborate with a dynamic research team (currently 6 persons) and organize the professional communication of research results (website, social networks, press, professional articles);
• Develop high-quality summary of research results for the practical work and organize research events in sustainable finance;
• Participate in the activities and academic life of the service of Financial Analysis and Corporate Finance.
• (Optional) Develop a proposal for doctoral research.

Required qualifications and profile
• Hold a 120-credit master's degree in management sciences (or equivalent) (with at least honours);
• Demonstrate writing and analytical skills;
• Master communication tools and demonstrate infographic skills;
• Taste for research. Experience in applied research in finance and/or data analysis is considered as a plus;
• Strong interest in sustainable finance. Experience in sustainable finance is considered as a plus.
• Languages : both English and French;

Initial term of 1 year. Start date of the contract to be discussed.

Opportunity to enroll in an evening specialized master in sustainable and climate finance at HEC
Liège or to do a pre-doctoral research (paid) internship.
